#SwapDay photos (full recap to come)

First things first: Thank you to everyone who supported the Exchange Your Ways swap this weekend, especially these ladies who are huge champions of sorting and organizing:

Jacki, Nicole, Nicole, Lori, Katherine, Kaarin, Daisy, and Jackie--you ladies are amazing!
Swap attendee Lily sent along a few photos, including the one above and this one of me looking completely spent:

Until I can get a full recap up, please enjoy these photos taken with my iPhone throughout the day.

Sorting the first few bags, which were, um...ours.

Trying to be neat and organized

Check in table set up, with all our coffee at the ready

The lovely Jackie, who let us take over the new Nana for the day!

Yeah we pulled the sign out of the basement

This guy came to visit while we set up and my heart melted

@Nici tries on some boots, an early snag for herself

This is when things started getting a little crazy

Ready to go!

The line-up

No shame in wearing two different shoes at a swap.

This lucky lady got @Nici's old roller skates!

Thank you, swapper, for taking the wool suit that I couldn't wear

Loot!

@lanyapi relaxes and tries on a leftover jacket

Cleaning up before the Goodwill truck arrived!

Thanks so much for helping to put this on! I had such a blast--and am wearing a houndstooth cropped jacket I got to work today!

Hey! I am putting on a swap at my workplace (300 people) and I was wondering if you could give me any tips?

@svartfar, glad to! My biggest piece of advice is to keep it as simple as possible. Make sure it's a one-day only thing (no early drop-offs, no early sorting...it takes too long), and make sure there's something for swappers to do while their stuff is sorted...you have you give the sorters enough time to do their thing!

If you want to tell me a little more about how your swap is going to be set up, I can probably give you some more lessons that I've learned along the way. quarterlife@quarterlife202.com

Good luck!

I really enjoyed the swap and ended up with some great stuff! Everything was pretty well organized and volunteers were really helpful.
