How does new vintage and local artisan showcase Ginger Roots fit into the DC fashion scene? We asked Erin and Kristen. We promise to get back to thrift tips and field trips soon, but we'll have one more video about Ginger Roots coming up. And I promise, I have saved the best for last.

Ginger Roots videofest, Part 1

Fancy Little Things Fall Fashion Swap: Now with VIDEO

Here I am in my video debut, complete with sound effects (thanks, cat), a few blunders, and some borderline bedhead. But ignore all that—it's time to start cleaning out your closet and picking out things to swap at the Fancy Little Things Fall Fashion Swap. Gather some clean items in good shape, bag 'em up, and send them on over so we can get them ready for you to shop 'til you drop on September 19.

If you have questions about the swap, send me an e-mail. Who knows, I might address it for the crowd with another video post!

See you then!
