Quick pics from Crafty Bastards

Crafty Bastards comes but once a year, and for my first time attending, I decided to jump in and volunteer. On the 5 a.m. shift. Working the early shift gave me the opportunity to do the following:

-See what AdMo is like at 5 a.m. on a Saturday
-Get in a good workout from which I am still recovering
-Meet some nice people
-Eat bagels in the dark with said nice people
-Get a head start browsing the market!

I helped the guys from Arganica load in their supplies for the day,
including these two to keep them company!

I can't remember which vendor had these beautiful headbands,
but they were definitely my favorite item of the day.
Zippers!

But I didn't buy one, because $30 for a headband is over my budget.

Awesome: books repurposed into art

I got this onesie for a certain fetus named Bean from wonderful vendor Rhymes with Twee
I met a puppy. I hugged him. He hugged me back.

BTW, I went over to Mercedes Bien after I ran into you guys and was sadly seduced by a gorgeous '50s cocktail dress. It was sad because I was clearly meant to own it - but had no money. SAD. Even Mercedes was sad.

Thank you! I was scouring the CB vendor directory trying to find the right one.
