Helloooo tales of travel. I'm back from merry old New England and I perhaps did some shopping and browsing while I was there.
Words can't exactly express how lovely Mix is. Nestled in the heart of Vineyard Haven among art galleries and coffee shops, this store is a mix of old and new. But all that is new pays homage to what is old and beloved.
One section of the store has home goods, like kitchen gadgets and some vintage glassware. Another display by the front window has books of all kinds, including children's Golden Books and seriously vintage guides to domestic living. Old cameras are featured nearby. As you move to the rear of the store, you find carefully selected vintage clothing items. Ranging from silk pajamas to aprons, it was easy to find a style or color that caught my eye.
If you need a bargain, this is not the place for you. But if you want some pretty things to look at, this is indeed the place for you. More photos after the jump!
