Thrift Tip: Lather, Rinse, Repeat?

We're a little weirded-out that this thrift tip comes from a site called All Women Stalk, but we have to admit, it's solid advice.  In Seven Tips for Buying Vintage Clothing, writer Kati Blake gives you a laundry list (ha!) of tips for buying secondhand.  There are some cute photos too!

Our favorite, because it's often forgotten:

"Don’t send your vintage items to be dry cleaned, as the harsh chemicals could ruin the piece. Wash by hand using a very gentle detergent, so you can ensure you are as gentle as can be!"

And if you're washing in the sink, everyone knows Woolite is your best friend!
