Rerun closing in Takoma Park

I'm really late on this one, but my colleague Elahe Izadi at TBD recently broke the news that Takoma Park's Rerun will be closing soon. 

When I first visited the shop last year, it had just moved down the block a few storefronts. But, it was far from the friendliest shopping environment. While the store is rumored to have a liquidation sale going on right now, I don't think it's worth the trip to Takoma. If you're close by and decide to check it out, though, let me know what you find. 

It's always disappointing to see a local business close, especially one that appreciates vintage clothing. Can I convince anyone to open their own vintage shop on that row to join the stores that are doing okay? Please?

Final weekend for Esther's Treasures

Word comes via e-mail that Esther's Treasures, which once planned to be open through the fall, will close this weekend. For last-minute deals on vintage clothing, antique furniture, and odds-n-ends, be sure to stop by before it's too late.

Another store closing: Esther's Treasures

Tucked in the bottom of an e-mail received yesterday about this weekend's Labor Day sale at Esther's Treasures was the sad news of the store's eventual closure.  From the message:

Esther's Treasures is Closing it Doors by Year-end  !!!!

We know we'll be missed, but know that this is a difficult but necessary business decision.  We won't be far away, just stay tuned for EsthersTreasures.com and my other creative ways of bringing you my unique and fabulous merchandise!!  

Please pass the word that we are Liquidating.
