L&N Super Thrift Store moves out of U Street location

Borderstan informs us that L&N Super Thrift Store has moved from its 14th Street location up to Georgia Avenue. I'm not disappointed—I was a bit weirded out by my visit earlier this year and didn't really feel comfortable browsing the tightly-packed store the lacked many price tags. What will replace it in the U Street area? Let's hope for something good....

I also just came to learn this weekend that Posh Consignment has left its location on 18th Street across from Lauriol. Some checking revealed a post by Prince of Petworth that reports the store will eventually reopen on H Street NE. Let's hope it returns and thrives in the new neighborhood. I don't like it when I find out that stores I've visited are closing!
